20/20 Vision Without Glasses?

A while ago I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in about twenty years. It was great to see her again, she has obviously been taking terrific care of herself.

When we stopped in to a small cafe for a bite to eat and catch up a bit, I noticed she was able to read the small print on the menu without any trouble even though she didn't wear glasses. Personally I sometimes have trouble with small print, and I do wear glasses and have for the last fifteen years.

I asked her if she was wearing contacts, "No," she responded cheerfully, "I have perfect vision."
"Lucky you," I said, (I know she's only a month younger than me) "You must have good genes."

Actually she admitted she had experienced some vision problems in her early forties but her husband, a Chiropractor, had come across a book while studying for his exams called, The Cure of Imperfect Sight by Treatment Without Glasses.
She read it cover to cover and practiced the exercises every day and her vision improved. She has never needed glasses since then.

I was very intrigued but then she told me it was actually an old book and long out of print and her copy had been borrowed years ago and never returned.

BUMMER!

After lunch we exchanged phone numbers and promised to keep in touch.

A couple of days later she called me and told me she had found a re-print version of the book online as a free ebook!

I went to the link and there it was, (re-titled 20/20 Vision Without Glasses) no charge, no sales letter, no obligation, just a free book. (How often does that happen on the Internet?)

Anyway I've started doing the exercises and my vision actually seems to be improving. No kidding!
